im doing an experiment on cathodic protection and i want to know if it will work if i use a 9 votl battery and two nails conntected to each side of the battery.look at this picture:

It will work much faster than with the 1.5 Volt cell shown in the picture.

i need products or methods that may possibly stop corrosion on nails,
