One of the most unusual and stunning new public parks in recent decades, this abandoned elevated railway running through lower Manhattan has been transformed into a public pedestrian greenway. Designed by James Corner Field Operations, with Lisa Tziona Switkin serving as lead designer, as well as architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, this remarkable urban transformation was spearheaded in 1999 by Robert Hammond and Joshua David, two residents of the High Line’s Chelsea neighborhood.

This is the only model made by Jensen in the “Candlestick” configuration and for sure they will never build them again. Mr. Jensen sr. didn’t like this engines too much, with a round heater and with the crankshaft going through the boiler itself, they were difficult to build,.
This particular engine is one of the few to have a brass boiler so I am very lucky.
Due to the war in Korea, brass was used for the war effort and was scarce. Because of that, the majority of this Jensen 45’s were made with steel boilers. Steel, water and heat is not a good combination so most of them are now rusted and no longer working.
This brass boiler engine was completely restored and it is working fine now. No leaks at all.
I was trying not to be so hard on the new paint so I was using only 80 VAC.
Heat inside the Heater came up to 230 degrees Centigrade, terrible hot; the boiler came up to 110 degrees Centigrade.
Enjoy!
Neat old PU. These are fun drivers. This one lived in Idaho I’m sure all it’s life. It was a real farm truck. This is not a show rig in any way. It’s been around the block or should I say the farm. I bought it in southern Idaho and you should be the 4th owner. It looks like original paint. If you go to the photos you can see on the hood where the paint is rubbed down to the primer. The body is very good, not beat up or rusted out. The underside has never been touched as you can see in the photos. Has a steel plate in the bed. The interior is so so. Seat is good but it’s white, so it looks stained. The dash looks the worst. The engine runs well and the transmission works fine. I have driven it about 60 miles and I would drive it anywhere. It’s geared low so even though I drove on the freeway I drove 50 to 55 MPH. You can re-gear it for freeway driving. Old School Garage did the service and safety check and did not find any thing major. Drive it old or restore this PU. Cond. # 3-.

207 McLaren, body like Buffy
Old head get rusty, and I’m a can of oil
If Hip-Hop do die, a 100 grand’ll boil
Show up at your bougie event, get your body harmed
Slide you all over the stage like Omarion
Don’t need a party calm, on the pepsi and bacardi bomb
Bail ain’t nothin, I make a Gotti bond
I’m richer than a muthafu*ka ridin’ in a dirty phantom
We kill undercovers down here we can’t stand em
Fill up the door panels and stuff the floor boards
I can fit a hundred in a Honda Accord
Blood of a drug lord, brain of a baller
Hand of a hustler, I’m all about a dollar
Everybody’s a customer, Nobody’s a friend
Somebody gotta do it, anybody can win
If I did it then, I can do it now
When we get ‘em in, we just ship ‘em out
A Gucci briefcase, dressed in a suit & tie
Cartier’s you can tell that I

Move the keys, they call me the piano man
Dark green with tan interior. Converted to 12 volts. Nice chrome wheels and very good tires. Now this is not a show truck. The paint leaves a lot to be desired but you don’t have to re-paint it and it’s been this way a long time. To me it looks like a home paint job and they painted over the dirt. The body is very good, but it has bumps and scratches on all the fenders but nothing big. Cab corners are good and the drain vents have not been filled in. Has a steel plate in the bed. So if you want “show” this is not the PU to buy. It would be a good candidate for building a show truck. Nice to find them when they are not all rusted out. This PU came from Colorado before coming to Washington. I know it drives well as I drove it home about 70 miles. I drove most of the way right down the freeway. 70 MPH is easy for this PU. Some one installed a Hi-way ring and pinion gears. Heater works. Old School Garage Did the service and safety check and when driving the 40 plus miles back low gear started making more noise so we found a rebuilt transmission and I drove it back to Old School and Joe installed the rebuilt transmission. I just could not sell it the way it was. It drives great now. Cond. 3-.
