@allynbricco …
@allynbricco Unfortunately, no. I think I ran across it online clicking a link from the Down Facebook or Myspace page. One really good interview I can recommend is out of the 200th issue of Metal Hammer, with Phil Anselmo on the cover. Pepper talks about the recording of Deliverance and how they got the “Skynyrd vibe going on” for Albatross.
@fuckinghostile82 …
@fuckinghostile82 Do you know where i could find that interview?
@devilive14 It’s …
@devilive14 It’s probably supposed to remind you of Skynyrd. Pepper’s goal was to use his southern rock influences in his metal riffs. I remember reading an interview with him, having one of the Allman Brothers play his guitar nearly brought him to tears, he was so happy.
@devilive14 …
@devilive14 yeah
@ripricric –do you …
@ripricric –do you play this yet? you got a chord progression? fugure pretty much Bb-C-G for the verse, but there’s an F in the chorus that I cant figure how to get to. Does it hold the C longer?

I agree – great playing, but, seriously, these guys should have changed their name in 1988 to Totally Gave in to Conformity. What an pathetic misnomer. At least Metallica stayed heavy.
