    @1PossumJenkins Since the metal of this old Karmann Ghia is so questionable, unless replacing the whole panel would be a lot more work, I think using the entire panel would be a good idea. Just my opinion.

    Whats the harm in replaceing the whole panel. You bought it, you will probally never use it again. So why not use what you bought.
