Faux Finish: Rust Effect

How to use Iron A/B metal coating from Sculpt Nouveau to create a rust effect on props and interiors.

I used Iron A/B, Silver B, Tan Patina, and Light Green Patina from Sculpt Nouveau. Products are available on our web store or by phone order.

    If properly applied and sealed with an outdoor sealer (i.e. Permalac) it holds up very well.

    Apply any reactive …
    Apply any reactive patinas while the metal coating is still wet. This allows the reaction to start before the metal powder is encapsulated in dry acrylic.
