How do I paint galvanised metal?

Galvanized tube on a child’s climbing frame has gone rusty.
1 How do I remove the rust
2 What type of paint should I use

Try Tremclad (made by Rustoleum). Use their Galvanized metal primer, and top coat with any colour you like. Don’t worry about removing the rust!

  1. ‘Hammerite’ – leave the rust and paint it over, thats what it is designed to do.
    At your local DIY store.
