1953 CHEVROLET 5 WINDOW PICKUP. #H53K030157. 235 six cylinder engine with 3 speed transmission. Dark green with tan interior. Converted to 12 volts. Nice chrome wheels and very good tires. Now this is not a show truck. The paint leaves a lot to be desired but you don’t have to re-paint it and it’s been this way a long time. To me it looks like a home paint job and they painted over the dirt. The body is very good, but it has bumps and scratches on all the fenders but nothing big. Cab corners are good and the drain vents have not been filled in. Has a steel plate in the bed. So if you want “show” this is not the PU to buy. It would be a good candidate for building a show truck. Nice to find them when they are not all rusted out. This PU came from Colorado before coming to Washington. I know it drives well as I drove it home about 70 miles. I drove most of the way right down the freeway. 70 MPH is easy for this PU. Some one installed a Hi-way ring and pinion gears. Heater works. Old School Garage Did the service and safety check and when driving the 40 plus miles back low gear started making more noise so we found a rebuilt transmission and I drove it back to Old School and Joe installed the rebuilt transmission. I just could not sell it the way it was. It drives great now. Cond. 3-.

We charge a $50.00 doc fee for instate and $100.00 doc fee for out of state sales on top of the selling price. The State of Washington says we can charge up to $150.00 doc fee that is negotiable. The doc fees cover costs such as trip permits and FedEx costs.
