will this prevent corrosion of gums and teeth after healing?

i read this somewhere, if it means buying bioplast or rubber/plastic to prevent corrosion ill do it, anything else that can preven it?

No it wont, it still affects the gums the same as a metal one

  2. no…no matter what you put in it will cause corrosion. I had my tongue pierced for less than a year and always wore plastic rings and they still corroded my teeth. And my 19 year old sisters bottom teeth have been worn down almost to the bottom of her gums which is going to cause some serious issues in the future. My recommendation is to take it out after about 6 mos otherwise you will do irreperable damage. I know it sucks and that a lot of people are willing to take that chance, but 9 times out of ten you will eff something up either with your teeth or your gums..
